How should I displose of my 6.9?

I had a 86 F-250 6.9 powered truck that needed a new motor. I recovered an engine, transmission, Banks turbo, DNE overdrive from a rusted hulk. It was going to be my project! Well I no longer have the truck and I need to get rid of all this stuff. Before I lost the truck, I took the heads off and the engine looked good. I have no idea if the stuff has any value. I am not sure if should put it on ebay or list it here and if do list it, what it is worth. I am looking for advise. Thanks. john.

If it doesn't sell on here/ebay/craigslist or you don't think its worth much you can always take it to a scrap yard.

What would you like to see for the overdrive? Is it for a 2wd or 4x4 truck?

I shudder to think what it may be. Buddy 'lost' his '88 F150.... he put it up for calateral for a loan- one of THOSE places. What's bad is, later AFTER the truck was taken (so the fees would go up if we would have went to go get it), I find out it was for only $600-700!!!! He had the truck since he was 16 (which was the early/mid 1990's)......

Would help to know which of those states you have listed, is where the parts are. A lot of that stuff you don't want to try and ship.

1) the parts are in Carson California.
2) I have decided to put the whole shebang on Ebay and if it doesn't sell, I will donate the stuff to a local school.
3) I walked away from the truck because I couldn't get it titled (short version). Long version for those who are bored: I bought the truck in Southern California as I was moving to AL. When I got to AL, they said the salvage title info I had was not legal unless I went through CA first. CA said that they would be happy to give me a title for $1500.00 (owed fees from the previous owner). I then bought a rusted turbo truck (the one I have the engine out of) so I could take the engine and title from the hulk and move it to the rust free CA truck with a tired engine. Just then AL said there was a way to fix the title so I harvested the parts and sent the rusted hulk to the junk yard. Then AL changed their mind. By then I was ready to move again to WA and threw my hands in the air. So for now, diesels are a memory.
Thanks to everyones comments and ideas.
