Hypermax Pulse Turbo A/R numbers

Hi all.

I posted this on the 7.3 IDI board, but haven't any replies. I'll post here also, and hope for some info.

I just got through installing the older used Hypermax system from Ebay on my '93; man, what a difference! I did purchase new manifold pipes and a new turbo mount from Hypermax, and everything went together fairly well.

I am looking for help from those of you out there runing the current Hypermax Pulse Turbo for the 7.3L IDI. I am looking for the compressor and exhaust turbine A/R numbers for a current production 6.9/7.3 pulse turbocharger. I may have a line on a new in box garrett turbo, that is said to be designed for the Hypermax Pulse system. It has a compressor A/R of .64, and an exhaust turbine A/R of 1.32 with the pulse style "split" or two chamber housing.

Any info would be a big help. It is being held, but I need to let the owner know soon, as there may be another interested party.

I went ahead and bought the turbo; got a great price on it. I just found out via email from Hypermax that the current pulse turbo numbers are compressor A/r .7 and turbine A/R 1.15.

The turbo that I am purchasing (Ebay) has a compressor of .64 and a turbine of 1.32. OOPS!

I have posted over on the 7.3 board to see if anybody knows whether that combination can be run safely on a '93 7.3L IDI, and if so, how it will affect turbo preformance.
