Injector return lines, injectors

I have a leak on one of the injector return line T's. I replaced the line but it is still leaking. Seems like a lot of slack on the return T's. I'll be installing a return line kit but am wondering about the injectors. No problems right now but I have no idea how many miles are on this engine.

Better to have the injectors rebuilt? Build a pop-tester and only rebuild the weak ones? Learn how to rebuild them myself?

Also, I read that the return lines on the 6.9 are 3/16". Mine are 1/4". My truck is an '85 model. Does this sound right?

As long as the barbs fit the hose and seal, the injector orings are basically the same size IIRC.. Hose ID was probably due to turbo fuel return flow requirements.
