Talking My 84 F350 Exhaust

Ok im new to this forum and i like all the good articles i have found but i need some quick links to make my 6.9l run better.

the exhaust is a joke. 2 1/4 inch exhaust chokes this engine i am positive of this due to losing my muffler by accident gave me hoards of power. is there somewhere that i can buy a stainless exhaust kit 3-4" diameter and free flowing muffler. Or headers that will accommodate 3" exhaust. Everyone i have spoken to about there diesel mods say that bigger exhaust helps HP greatly.

the other is there a step by step link on how to decrease fuel on the ip? mine is obviously high.

Headers are available BUT I have not heard raving reviews....... in fact some have changed back to the OEM manifolds. Using the OEM Y pipe, increase the exhaust pipe size to whatever you want........ just be aware you WILL need a muffler as these engines do make noise.

One member used a power stroke exhaust many years back........
