my truck has very bad negative camber since i put axel drop brackets in, can the camber be roughly adjusted yourself or do i need to take it to a shop?

We gotta hear some back-story first - why did you install drop brackets in the first place? Those are usually needed when you have lift springs, if you have add-a-leafs that usually don't warrant drop brackets but can instead be compensated for with camber/caster adjusters in the top ball joints. What springs do you have in the front of the truck, how bad was the positive camber before you install the drop brackets, and how big drop brackets did you install?

4" lift springs and 3" drop brackets should make for wheels that sit like this \-o-/ which is positive camber - do your wheels sit like this /-o-\ instead?

So you adjusted out the positive camber you originally had, then put drop brackets in and suddenly had negative camber. Is that right?

Sounds to me like you dialed in all the negative camber you could to try to straighten the wheels out with just the springs in. I'd take it back to whatever shop did the original adjustment and have it done again.

Dial in the maximum positive camber you can, basically reverse what you did at first before installing the drop bracket, and see where that gets you.
