Pre chamber removal

I have the head off and need to get the prechamber off to get a glow plug tip out, any suggestions for removal.

Re: Pre chamber removal

Tip should fall thru the hole. If it is stuck in the GP socket, soak it with Kroil, PB Blaster, or some kind of penetrating oil then knock it out with a #1
Phillips if you don't have a long slender punch.

the piece that broke is to big to fit through the hole so I'm gonna have to remve the chamber. Thanks for the response.

Re: Pre chamber removal

Use a long straight punch thru the injector hole.

Re: Pre chamber removal

Manual says to use a 1/4" x 8" BRASS drift pin thru the injector hole and TAP to remove. Some may fall out on their own. You may want to soak the area around the PC with appropriate lube. To reinstall, apply light coat of heavy grease to mounting edge and tap in with a plastic hammer if needed.
