I just finished doing a solid axle swap on my 86 2wd and I need to bring up the rear. I used v code super duty springs which feel pretty soft and I would like to have something comparable in the rear. Load capacity doesnt matter so much as I plan on installing some air bags later. I don't want to just block up the rear cause those springs are already 23 years old and it didn't ride that smoothly off the lot. Suggestions? something in like a 4-6 inch lift range would match the front pretty closely I think.
I am partial to skyjacker springs as I have had two different sets of superlift rear springs that both broke on me(made in indonesia). there are other companies on the net that will make up leaf packs to your specs with several thinner leaves in order to attain better ride quality.
