stalling when running bio?

Hi there, just wondering if anybody has had issues with this. I've been running on petro all summer but just recently put some b100 in. The fuel is high quality, has been tested and runs fine in our mercedes turbo diesel. It seems to stall when I take my foot off the accelerator at low speeds (maneuvering in the driveway etc.). I don't think its the fuel filter because when I switch back to #2 it runs fine again. I have an electric lift pump installed so it should be generating enough pressure. Could the IP need to be tuned for bio? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks,

Digitalis

Usually the low-speed stall issue with these trucks is caused by debris particles in the fuel that are too fine for the filters to stop and that build up inside the injection pump, clogging up the the governor assembly. A quick IP soak and flush seems to work good - you warm up your truck good and shut her off, then take your fuel filter off and empty it and fill it with some chemical like Diesel Kleen, then fire up truck and run her for like 20-30 seconds then shut her off again, let her sit for a few hours (allows the Diesel Kleen to soak into the dirt deposits inside the IP), then fire her up again and drive her like you stole her for a bit. But seeing how this only happens when you drive on biodiesel, I'm thinking it may have something to do with the fuel itself, or the effect it has on the IP seals and stuff - for instance, is B100 any thicker fluid than #2, does it flow as good as #2 or you need heaters to run it like you do with veggie oil?
