weird noise

ok every once in a while it sounds like a exhaust valve hangs or something. the engine has a thuch thuch sound in the exhaust what could it be i dont think a valve would be able to stick open and still have enough compression to run. it also does not act any different. thanks sorry for the vary un tech explanation.

Normally if an exhaust valve is the problem.... the exhaust pipe will make a chuffing sound. There is very little room for... valves... to "hang up" without piston to valve contact and destructive results.
