4 link with heim joints

I'm building a 4 link air ride set up for my f250. I was looking at some heim joints that had a load capacity of 45,000 lbs. Any ideas as to if this is strong enough. The truck is going to be used for towing a camper or my 4 wheeling rig (jeep).

Thanks,
Jason

I worry more about the size of the bolt going threw the heim. I would try and use a rubber / polly bushing on the frame side.

What is the reason for using a rubber / polly bushing on the frame side??

For vibration absorbtion. Solid metal to metal rod ends will give you a very harsh ride.

45k sounds plenty strong enough. Have any pictures of the heim you plan on using? I've build plenty of offroad 4 links for jeeps and toyotas that would surely hold up to the abuse, although we mainly use johnny joints. I like using Rubicon Express johnny joints, and welding a 1" grade 8 bolt to them, and then a bung inside some .250 wall DOM tubing for adjustment. Plenty strong, and rebuildable.

Heims are clean and convienient though.
