With two 10k axles, the trailer will have a GVWR of around 23,000 pounds. And with about 14,000 pounds worth of payload, you'll probably be grossing close to the GVWR of the trailer.
In the heavier-duty stuff, Reese makes a 22k and a 30k 5er hitch. I'm afraid the 22k model would be too close to its capacity - if not overloaded. So I'd go for the 30k model.

Smokey, got a couple of questions for you. My 5er hitch is rated at 12K. The camper has a max wet/loaded weight of 11,400. (dry is something like 8400). Am I safe enough with this weight hitch or should I opt for a higher, say 15K, hitch? Last, is it a good idea to replace the crossbar bolts every year with either grade 5 or grade 8 replacements?

I've never heard of a 5er hitch rated for less than 15,000 pounds gross trailer weight. Even the cheapest Reese is rated for 15k.
But if your max trailer weight is 12k and your hitch is rated for 12k, then there's no reason to get a higher-rated hitch. Unless you just prefer the bigger safety factor.
If you do go for a higher rated hitch, then don't stop at 15k. In a Reese Classic 5er hitch, the 15k model doesn't have 4-way tilt. Last year I threw away my cheap 15k Reese "pro" model and replaced it with a 16k Classic that has 4-way tilt. Much, much better hitch. Much easier to hook up. And my 5er has a GVWR of only 7,900 pounds, so I now have a heck of a safety factor.

I don't know. But somewhere I seem to remember that you don't want grade 8 bolts because they are too brittle. Double check before you decide which bolts to get.
When I replaced the hitch last year, I also replaced the bed rails and mounting bolts. The old ones had been in there for 5 years, with no problems. But earlier, with the 5er attached, Darling Wife had a small bump into the back of a pickup. The only damage to either vehicle was one of the bedrails was slightly bowed. (Good thing the other guy was in a one-ton Dooley with a RanchHand rear bumper!) So I replaced the bedrails and used the new bolts that came with the install kit. So I know I used the right bolts. Skip the 5th wheel guys and just get a gooseneck ball. Most of the car haulers are goosenecks any way so you'll have a better selection when getting your trailers.
Smokey look at your bolts that you used does it have a 8 on it with three lines. Then it is a grade 8. To answer your question about trailer with goose or fifthwheel. Fifthwheel is easyer to hookup and does not bend as bad as goose neck. the reason is that the plate does not allow it to move as much.when you load cars by driving on it the trailer bends.Yes fifthwheel is better for car haulers but get the one rated the highest.Hitch that is If yoou are getting a new trailer get the fifthwheel pin.
Teacher what is the difference between a goose neck car hauler and a fifthwheel car hauler. The down tube. cant get better selection if the trailers are the same exept for the hook up and they are interchangeable. But I sugest if you have the money get a trailer hauler It is same as car hauler but has rail in middle with trailer balls for trailers.and a wench.
