7.3 Pulling a Fire Truck with a full tank

Well one of our Fire Trucks had a little u-joint problems today and we needed to get it back to the station. CORAPEAKE's 7.3DPchipped truck did a really nice job on pulling that boat back to the fire station, I was really impressed. I know these trucks can pull but takeing a 7klb truck with all the tools he had in the back and pulling a fully loaded 25klb at the least fire truck is a good bit of weight. Just thought I would put that up here cause I thought it was pretty sweet

Re: 7.3 Pulling a Fire Truck with a full tank

A nice load. I often pull (certified weight) 20k+ of cargo behind my 3/4 ton dsl 7.3 with ATS (1989) This is a slower speeds of course and with brakes. Properly set up they will pull a lot. (and not run thru tires if you watch it.)
