Any good (or bad) experiences with Maxxis ST tires?

Got fed up with blowing out a tire every time we went somewhere and have on order a new set of five Maxxis E rated trailer tires. They'll replace the C rated tires I have now. Was going to move up to an 8 ply, but decided to spend the extra money and just go 10 ply. I have not been able to find anything bad written about Maxxis tires on the 'net anywhere but thought I'd ask here and see if anyone had any experience with the Maxxis brand. Thanks.

I have a set of Maxxis Buckshot Mudders 31x10.50x15 on a Jeep and love them. They have worn well. Where did you order the trailer tires? I would like to put a set of them on my Cougar, but haven't been able to find a distributor.

Found them at a shop about ten miles from my house here in southwest Missouri. Mom & pop type outfit but they had the best prices I could find in the area. Also found them at a farm & home store we have here(Race Brothers). They did not stock them but could get them....and they had no way to mount/balance them.

I'm in Alabama and the place I bought the Maxxis Mudders couldn't get the trailer tires. Oh well, looks like I'll have to order them and have them shipped in.

Re: Any good (or bad) experiences with Maxxis ST tires?

I am on my third set of Maxxis Buckshot Mudders, and love them. they build a true tire, have never had a problem with balancing, The local Tire Pros shop here carries them for all us, "deer huntin rednecks with over priced chariots"quote from my neighbor. I'll have to check if my dealer can get the trailer tires as I would like to have a set for my fiver.
Cheers

I don't know how close to Nashville you guys are; but, DUNLAP & KYLE tire wholesalers, in Nashville, are stocking dealer for MAXXIS.

I will agree with their quality.

We have carried the Maxxis Mudder for several years, and they will outlast any highway tread tire in the building, including the big ticket brands.

Once a guy tries them, that is all we ever sell him again.

Re: Any good (or bad) experiences with Maxxis ST tires?

I had right side blow outs every year on our fiver using load range D tires. I found Maxxis load range E (15 inch) and this year we had zero problems. So far they are great! A local tire dealer in eastern Nebraska was able to order them from his supplier in Omaha. I think they are available most places you just need to look around. I paid around $95 mounting included.
