I've got a 4" lift and running 315's on stock rims. I had the springs flipped on the 5ver before I lifted the truck, it was needed just to get under it with stock truck height.
I put some helper springs on the rear pack and that made all the difference with the sag on my F250. I've got about 6" clearance on the bedrails on the cab end, maybe an inch less at the tailgate.
Been towing it this way for about 3 years now with no problems. I really like the way the truck/5ver mate up with my current setup, it can be done.

Yep,, just like GS said, they flip the springs on the 5er. Guess you need taller steps to get in and out of it thru the door now?
Maybe build yourself a wooden STOOP out of 2x6s..this would help keep the tracking of dirt out of it too!

I talso depends on the brand of 5'r, Tehra re as many different pin box hights as there are mfgr's. our wildcat has another 3 inches of lift in the leaf sprng shackles before considering flipping the axels. We have a 4x2 with a 6" lift and the rig is nose down at the lowest setting.

My truck is lifted 4" on 35's and I tow a 37' Weekend Warrior 5er with it. Instead of flipping the axles (which I think sits too high) I had them build it with a 2" spacer between the spring perches and the frame.... the trailer sits absolutely perfect with this combination.

I'm with taxgod4u, you might want to look at the Wildcat's by Forest River. You can order them online through a couple wholesale-type dealers. I picked mine up a few weeks ago and with my truck's stock suspension, the trailer was nose down 3". The trailer has adjustable hanger mounts. I upgraded to 16" wheels with 235/80R16 tires adding another couple inches over the 15" wheels. It is setup from the factory with the highest holes in the hanger bracket. This is the lowest the trailer can be set. If you move the springs to the lowest mount holes, it gives you another 2-1/2" to 3" of lift on the trailer. With my truck, I had to move the pin box down and raise the hitch to the highest setting to eat up the 3". It now sits nearly level and has about 8-9" of clearance at the bedrails. Most 5th wheels I've seen are always nose high. This trailer is different. If I lifted my truck, the trailer would be easy to level out the way it is setup.

You should be fine with a 4" lift or less. I have a friend that used to pull a gooseneck stock trailer with a 12" lift and 40's, he just put it on the receiver hitch lol.

I have a 38' Rampage toybox 5er and pull it with the truck in my sig. That being said I have the axel's flipped, 2" lift and the springs set on the bottom hole on the Jake plate. I don't really recommend this set up for everyone and if you haven't towed alot before. I have around 9 inches of bed rail clearace, which is nice but you really only need 6 or 7. I will be moving my springs up on the Jake plate and lowering the unit 2" soon. I just didn't want to drive up to my new trailer and not be able to get under it. 02.

Towing what is in my sig for 2yrs. No issues. They should be able tell you if a particular 5er is made with the understanding that it will be towed by a lifted 4x4 or not.
I pull a 29.5T artic fox 5th wheel with truck listed below,6" blocks in rear oru kit on front rig is almost level. If you look around you can find most of the newer ones set up off the ground quite a bit. No, I thought about getting some. The sag in the rear isn't really severe enough to warrant them. The handling is fine and I have experience no adverse affects from the small amount of sag. The truck rides so good empty or full now that I don't want to screw with it.
