I'm trying to find a way to haul 2 quads and still pull a travel trailer at the same time. Short of going out and buying a toy hauler, the only option I can come up with is a product called the ultimate rack.
The rack rests in the truck bed and not on the side rails, with the quads sitting on a rack above the rails.
Because the quads sit so high, I was concerned with how it would affect the stability and ride of the truck.
If any of you are using it, I like to know what you think of it.
Thanks

I have seen the rack you are speaking of on the web. I would worry about loading as it would be rather high. To solve a similar issue I created a rack over the cab of my truck, but I currently only carry youth ATV's there.
I will research how to add photos to posts and try and show you what I did.

I like the Diamond Back bed cover better than the ultimate rack. It'll be a little more money, but it looks better especially when your not hauling quads. And you still have a ton of cargo room under the cover.

Do you have a short bed? Curious as to how using the extention to carry 2 quads would affect pulling a trailer.
Also, one of the selling points of the ultimate rack is that because the quads face forward, their fenders are less likely to be damaged from the wind.
I do like the look of the cover.

I will see if I can't find a pick of my rack. It is AWESOME. It loads "into" the cab, and not across the bed. It has 12' fold up ramps that go under the quads, and it is the best built rack available, in my opinion!! It is a piece of cake to load, unload. The reason I got it was BECAUSE I have a travel trailer, and did not want a toyhauler. I can park the TT, and load/unload anywhere else witht he quads, unlike the toyhauler that you have to "be" where you want/can unload. Great for the sand-dunes crowd.
I made my own and have made one more for a guy with a Nissian Titan. They run about $350 in materials. Both my quads weigh 500 each and I'm guessing the rack comes in at about 200 pounds. I have never had any sway issues. It is simmilar to hauling a cab over camper. I have better pics if your interested.
