What is the axle weight ratings on a 1995 F-350 single wheel 4x4? I belive the GVW is 9900lbs, but I need to know each axle rating for the DOT. John.

Re: Axle Weight Ratings

If the sticker was still on the door jam then I would, but seeing that it isn't, due to a roll over and then a cab replacement, I thought someone might help me out. John.

Re: Axle Weight Ratings

OK - sorry. Mine is a F350 dually, so they are pretty different. Good luck.

Sorry about the caps - I work with autocad at work, and always have them on.

Re: Axle Weight Ratings

Mike, no problem. I was having a bad day after I left the DOT office. The girl informed me that they are changing the way we license our vehicles here in New Brunswick. Instead of the L plate that my truck has had on it for the past ten years, I would have to take a C plate that cut back my GVW. In order to stay with the L plate I need axle ratings and tire sizes. On a lighter note, on the way home I bought a coffee at the local Tim Horten's, Canada's answer to Dunkin' Dounuts, and won a new gas barbeque! Things are lookin' up. John.

Re: Axle Weight Ratings

FAWR should be 4200lbs unless it has the optional heavy service upgrade then it would be 4800lbs. RAWR should be 6084lbs. GVWR is 9200lbs. Original tire is LT235/85R16E The 94-97 forum guys could look to confirm.

I don't have the '95 book, but a '97 F-350 PSD 4x4 SRW had a front GAWR of 4600 std or 4800 with the Heavy-duty Front Suspension Pkg.

Right. Assuming it's a CrewCab (and assuming RAWR means rear GAWR).

But his is a regular cab, so GVWR is 9,000. Rear GAWR is 6,084 and you got the tires right.
