B&W Companion 5er - Diesel Forum

I'll be using a B&W Companion 5th wheel for towing trailers as an RV transporter.

My only experience is with semi 5th wheels. Not much info/literature from the maker, what/how to grease the 5th wheel. I plan on spraying lithium on the moving parts but what about the head? Will the teflon sheets hold up for heavy daily use.

Teflon plate has worked very well for me and no mess.

Teflon plate will last a year or more and they are not expensive.
Lithium on the other parts will be fine. I went from a draw-tite to my B & W companion and I really like the companion and how it leaves a flat bed when not in the truck.
