B&W Hitch Location 46, 47, 49?

I've been reading some past posts about hitch location with the B&W turnover ball. There current install instructions off there website calls for a 47 in measurement for both short and long bed trucks. Some previous posts have mentioned that B&W describes a 46" for the short bed and a 49" location for the long bed. So have they changed there recommended measurement to 47in now? That's how I take it based on their current install instructions. My truck is a short bed so I'm sure the 47in would be just fine.

As long as the pin is not behind the rear axle you should be fine.
