Re: which is better?
well the stacker will bring your 8mpg to 4mpg (assuming newer) and it will be very hard on you in winds almost blow you over if on open plains
the 44 will tow better (considering both same hitch type) but either way make sure its gn(sone stackers can be gotten bp and ive seen my share of 40ft bumperpulls too)
now with 44ft trailer think how long the 450 is and add the 44 are you under the states you will tow through's length limits if not then go shorter
they will be both a chalenge to back up the 44 will be realy long with the axles a good 10+ feet from the rear but the stacker will not go undertrees att eh track or will it move as well due to the high center of gravity
the 44 with ususaly 3 or more axles will also have more capicty than the stacker with 2 axles ( yes i know they can be rated the same, but usualy arnt)
finally if you are living in it on the weekend al the extra stuff for that will add up with tools etc. so going with the 44ft you will be better off because a stacker has the lift which lowers the weight you can carry. and it lessens your space some too.
