Brake Controller & Brake shoes
2000 F350 w/tow package wiring. Finally figured it out, but Activator II shows error message when stepping on brake pedal w/ trailer connected. Manual says internal brake controller problem. Pulling gooseneck hauling round bales. Is it time to upgrade controller?
Pulled all the hubs to check the brakes, everything looks good, except linings are only about 1/8" thick.
Can't find anybody that says that good or bad. Also, activating the "puck" to engage the brakes activates only one shoe going forward, and the other shoe is reverse. Is this correct, or am I missing something?
Sure like to haul one load before Diesel gets any higher
