So about 1,100 pounds hitch weight if the trailer is properly loaded and balanced.
7940 + 1100 = 9,049 GVW. ~250 pounds overloaded without a weight-distributing hitch.
3600 + 1100 = 4700 RGAW compared to 6,084 RGAWR
I would say no problem whatsoever. I've gone from Texas to New York and back grossing around 9,600 pounds on the two pickup axles with no problems at all. However, I didn't have air bags, so with my fifth-wheel RV tied on I didn't drive at night because the headlights would have blinded oncoming traffic.
All hooked up with the weight-distributing hitch transferring about 275 pounds of the hitch weight to the trailer axles, and you won't be overloaded at all on the two pickup axles, and nowhere near the FGAWR or RGAWR. Plus your headlights won't be aiming at the stars, so you could drive at night if necessary.
