Concidering upgrading my hitch

I currently have a regular old reese 16K slider. I am wonder if anyone has already made the switch to a Curt Q5. I like the roller rod slide system and the additional 2" of travel gained. I am really curious if there is any noticeable reduction in chucking and noise. This hitch offers rubber isolators and a full 360° of pin engagement.

The highways here in Ohio, KY & tN leave something to be desired in places. The expansion joints drive me nuts.

Curt has a good reputation in the industry. Pullrite's another good choice for sliders. Naturally, I'm biased toward TrailerSaver, but have to admit our slider is a bit bulky and not "automatic," though easy to use.

If you're in the market for a new fiver, there's some nice ones that don't require a slider on a short bed.
