custum gooseneck trailers for camping and hauling

looking for ideas, thinking of put a pop up camper on the top part of the goose neck and still have room to haul, anybody got any ideas please post, pics would be great, thanks and have a great thanksgiving [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

They actually built one on Xtreme 4x4. Link HERE. I can't find any pictures of it as the show seems to be for sale on Amazon and AOL. Pretty cool set up and might be worth the $1.99 for the video.

Why reinvent the wheel?

You can buy an "LQ" ready to go. LQ as in Living Quarters in a gooseneck horse trailer or race trailer.

If you prefer to DIY, then get an empty race trailer and add your own interior and other things to suit you. Or you can order your race trailer with various LQ options, then add some more DIY. Or you can get one that's all already tricked out and cost over $100,000. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] Same with an LQ horse trailer. They go for various prices, all the way up to the $100,000 Bloomer.

My Sierra Blanca is a '99.5 PSD CrewCab hot-rod Towing Machine! BTS tranny; TurboRamAir intake and 4" stainless turbo-back exhaust; DP-Tuner tunes flashed into an Edge Evolution tuner; ISSPRO EV gauges and TTM; AIC; SP-Diesel exhaust brake and torque converter controller. I special-ordered it new and plan to drive it until it quits.

He's not looking for an enclosed trailer but a flat bed or dove tail to do something like THIS.

Man, pop up on top of the gooseneck,, wake up in the morning, or the middle of the night, that is ONE DOOZY of a first step!! LOL
The slide ins actually look pretty good on there like the pics show. Pretty functional! And a nice "Porch" out the door!
