Dealer told me a factory brake controler instalation kit is now available

Made instalation of it part of the deal when I bought the truck.
For some reason, the controler was not ordered from the factory. The truck has upfitter switches and just about everything else, but no brake controler.

The first 2005 F250 6.0 I looked at last month had the tow package, the towing mirrors, but no controller. I asked salesman what was up with that...he said a mistake in ordering.

The Tow Command package of controller and mirrors is $425, but the sticker price without controller was $200 or $225 for the mirrors only. He said they would order the controller and install for $400 (included $200 install fee). I ended up not getting that truck, but the one I finally did get had the Tow Command package. So apparently your dealer was correct that the controller can be ordered separately and retrofitted on the 2005.
