I am in the midwest and looking for something to do part time when I am not on shift, like a few days per week. I have a 7.3 and dont "Use" it enough. I was wondering if anyone knew if/how I could get on with a company delivering travel trailors or goose necks through out the midwest. If anyone knows or has any ideas could you reply here or email me at rjbaustian@hotmail.com

It is hard to "Make money" doing that with some of the brokers out there, there are a couple of more reputable ones that will pay decent. The downside to delivering them is you dead head back. Hard to make money empty. Here is a good forum that discusses the issue of towing for money, www.hotshothauling.com they talk about hauling cars, hotshot cargo and RVs too.
Go to the "Forums" link and then scroll down to "Drivers haulers and Opinions"

Before I got into hotshotting a long time ago, I started out pulling new t.t.s It was fun to do and deadheading back allowed for lots of time to be a professional tourist but at the end of the year, I'd always end up making about the same amount of money that I spent on fuel. Several of the guys I worked with were retired and didn't need the money so it was ok for them but if you have bills to pay or like to make money, it isn't the best thing to get into. You'll wear your truck out and won't make any money.

I second that. You make enough money to get by, but in the long run you lose money because of the wear and tear you put on your truck.
