disc brakes

Well, I'm going to be refurbishing the steel 30' flatbed with dual tandem 10K axles. Do they make an electric disc brake? I'm going to stay electric because of the controller in the new truck.

Also, what is the best controller out there for electric brakes? My GMC needs a new box and I don't know which way to go.

They (Dexter) make a electric over hydraulic diskbrake system. Electric controlled hydraulic pump for the disk brakes.
I would go with a brake controller recamended by the brake system manufacture.

Just went through the learning of electric over hydraulic brakes. The stock ford brake controller doesnt like the system.So after checking around I tried a friends truck with a prodigy and still the same problems as the stock in my ford.So went with a tekonsha P3 controller. This controller is a great controller you can switch from regular electric to electric over hydraulic and works great.

I also am using the P3, with Dexters and found it to work perfect. I especially like it in wet conditions. A separate dedicated line was run as not to interfere with the Factory Unit.
