Do you need air bags on a 1 ton dually

I have a 2002 F350 4x4 dually just bought it. I have a 35 ft toyhauler was wondering if i need bags. I havent pulled the trailer yet, and was wondering if it will help or not to have air bags.

It will help but may not be necessary. I tow a 18K# horse trailer. The rear squats slightly. I am planning to install the air bags this summer. The biggest issue with the squat is that the driveline angle is different and you will get some vibration on start up.

As a general rule of thumb, I would say 'yes' to that. I think that if you take your trucks GCVW rating and figure what your actual combined weight is going to be(full of people/supplies/toys), you will want something to help point your headlights to the road. You're not too far off. My little 30 footer that holds no toys larger than hand held types combines to 22k.
I would go for it
