Question Dynatrail Tires

Had to replace one on recent trip. Orig. was Goodyear Marathon. ST175/80R 13 (B) (small/lite wt. TT.) New DynaT. is same size except C rated.

Q..Due to tread pattern difference old VS new (tandem axle) Think its ok or should both tires have same tread patter? TIA

btw...had brake lock up & before I got stopped..inside edge of tire got ground down to the steel cord (braid?) New tire makes old (not worn out) look bad. Maybe 3 more soon.

Because of braking performance, I prefer to have matching tires on an axle. If my spare doesn't match the other trailer tire(s), then I use it strictly as a spare and get it off the ground ASAP. Those tiny Chinese donuts on yours can't cost much, so I'd buy at least one more to have matching tires on that axle.

Was kinda thinking what u said. When I put the new tire on I noticed the other tire was also ground down abit. Old one's about 5yrs. old. Decided to go ahead & replace other 3. Link u made..I'll have to ask Les Schwab dealer how warr. works?

Never had any chinese donuts before. Tread pattern on dyna's is more block like vs marathons. What/if any diff. that's makes? Hopefully dyna's will hold up ok? Tks.
