E rated tire sizes
Does anyone know what is the tallest size "E" rated tire for 16" rims? Any manuf. any better than another?

97' F250 4x4 crew cab. 4:10 gears,High Idle mod, Dana 60 conversion using 3"SKY RSK w/03' SD springs and 3 3/4" rear blocks to level. Tymar, Issopro gauges on 3 gauge pod, 3" down pipe, shimmed FPR and DP tuner 6 pos. chip (12-13-07).

Probably LT285/75R16E.

I prefer Michelin. They have that size:

BFGoodrich is part of Michelin, and they also have that size in the AllTerrain T/A KO.
Toyo also has that one.

i just got the bfg in that size 2 weeks ago 850.00 out he door and with all the extra nj stuff on it we have a lot

I'm not too hung up on the D or E ratings. I look at the actual weight rating. My last two sets of D's are rated for more than any E's I've ever had.
Super Swamper SSR's in 35x10.5R16 are 3400# rated.
Mickey Thompson has 325/80R16s at 3500#.
Michelin 9.00R16 and 11.00R16 are rated over 3500#.
