Electric Brake Controller Problems - Need some Help

I have a 2006 F250, Manuel Shift. The brake controller has stopped working. Check the fuses they are ok. Not a 100% sure about the relay. I have running lights, brake lights, turn signals. NO BRAKES. Not the trailer. No power to the brake prong at the plug. Is there something else I can check. I really don't like taking it to the dealer, ain't never had any luck getting anything fixed with dealership mechanics.

Take it apart at the hitch and check for water (moisture). Some get water in them and cause all kinds of troubles...like hunting a ghost.

Do you have power leaving the controller in the cab?

We took the plug apart and cleaned the contacts. That didn't help.

I'm not sure how to check if there is power leaving the controller. It lights up when you press the slide thingie .

I have power to the 2nd plug which is up on the side of the bed. Gonna change the plug at the hitch to see if that works. I believe that's got to be the problem. You're right Craiggo, It's like chasing a Ghost. Thanks for the help, Sometimes just bouncing info off of someone else helps.
