F250 Integrated Brake Controller Pulsates

I bought a 2006 F250 PSD to pull 2 different trailers. One is a 27' travel trailer and the integrated brake controller has proved to be the best thing since sliced bread. But then I bought a 39' 5ver and suddenly I'm getting a rather violent pulsating when I apply the brakes while pulling it.

Any ideas?

I've seen other posts with vague references to issues with hydro/elec brakes (5ver has these) but none of those posts are comprehensive enough to determine if that applies to my truck, year, model, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's a little scary pulling 14k and having the brakes doing that.

Amanda

Read your owner's manual. I believe it says that the controller is not compatible with hydro/elec brakes.

Re: F250 Integrated Brake Controller Pulsates

Mine does the same thing. I dont know what is going on.. I have to have it set on 3.5-4.0 and if I have to make a panic stop I have to reach down real quick and raise the pressure. Report back if you find a fix! Thanks

Nick
