I need to replace all four tires on my fifth due to it's encounter with a tornado on March 13th (Friday). I'm having a heck of a time looking for different types. I need a ST 225/75/R15, I would like an 'e' rated if possible since loaded I'm around 12k. Where do I start looking, I know I don't want Carlisle, but Michelin doesn't seem to have that size and Goodyear Marathons look on spec to be too light. Any suggestions would be great, just suggestions I don't want a brand war. TYIA
Maxxis trailer tires come in that size with a 10 ply rating or 2830 lbs. per tire. I have a friend that has had good luck with Maxxis, in fact he just put on his second set.
I just put the maxxis 225/75/15 radial on my trailer e load rated radial you can get them at discount tire for 107.00 before mounting and balancing

I have replaced two of my four tires with Cooper Trailer tires and have had them for 3 seasons now. I love them and can't imagine anything *better* so far

Cooper Custom Trailer Plus is probably the best on the market, but they cost an arm and a leg and your firstborn son. Plus they come in one size only: ST225/75R15D. Click here.
I had to replace a trailer tire several hundred miles from home on a Friday night, and all they had was a Denman. So I bought it. It's been an excellent trailer tire, so when another trailer needed tires recently, I ordered 4 of them in size ST225/75R15E. They're a lot less expensive than the Coopers. Denman also makes a bias ply trailer tire, but not in load range E. http://www.denmantire.com/catalog/Trailer.pdf - then scroll down to the radials.

I cannot vouch for overall quality of the Carlisle tires, but I had one blow-out and I wrote to the company to find a dealer locally so I could keep the set matched. Apparently they must of had an issue with them, and sent me 7 new radials right away, no questions asked. Because of there customer service I will look at replacing them with new Caarlilse, if they actually let me know of a local dealer.
