Have no door jamb sticker, need the weight info for my truck...

In another post of mine, I complained of the lack of a door jamb sticker anywhere in my 99 F250 Crew Cab 4x4 PSD. But really my complaint was Ford's lack of ability to provide another one to me--they offered me a build sheet, I took the offer, but now have to wait for it.

I'm really after the information that the sticker would have. I recently hauled some rubble to the dump, I was weighed before and after....8300 before, 7140 after. I did two runs and got 7140 both times as an empty weight.

If anyone has the information--What does the sticker say in terms of empty weight, gross weight and combined weight?

Thanks.

You can't really get an empty weight. The stickered empty weights are never what your actual truck weighs. Your GVWR is probably 8800 lbs. Your GCWR is no more than 20,000 lbs. Not sure about the 99's, but depending on your axle ratio, your GCWR may be lower than 20,000. Your door sticker will not say anything about empty or combined weight, only GVWR.

The sticker gives GVWR, Front axle weight rating, and rear axle weight rating. It does not give gross combined weight rating or empty weight.
Do you have an owners manual for this truck?
If not you can download it HERE.
The towing guides only go back to 2002 however.

Dump must be pretty close, You didn't even burn a gallon of fuel? And 7140 is pretty light for a crew cab, must be a short box at least. My truck is a Ex cab long bed and I'm always over 7200 lbs.

Anyway gvwr is definitely 8800, gawr is 4970 on both axles I think.

It is a shortbed.

Its only about 2 miles each way and the weight was with 1/4 tank of gas. I think it does 20lb increments since when the weight was changing, it would go 8300/8280 when I was full.
