yes indeed, it was the carpet pole with a larger than average lift on the other side of it.

had to deliver this roll to a customer about 30 miles away from our store and my biggest concern was, not an extended cargo fine from the popos, but for the the tailgate breaking or bending even though that cargo extender took a lot of the weight off of it. Anyway I made it there without a cargo citation and fortunately the customer had the ability to off-load.

I love my 7.3 and don't know what diesel truck I could buy right now -any manufacturer or cost - that could replace it.

New to me set-up

Not the heaviest load by far, but here we go...

2008 Ford F350 6.4 Powerstroke with Tow Boss package and Reese Strait-Line 1700 hitch pulling a Econoline 7 ton tilt and my JD 5420 minus the FEL. Total GCVW 22,584 lbs (Tractor & Trailer = 13,554 & Truck w/driver = 9,030).

These pictures were taken Friday when I towed the tractor into the dealer for the 600 hour service (valve & clutch lever adjustments). We had a great pull through the hills of Pennsylvania from Barton NY to Tunkhannock PA.

Don't let the pictures fool you. The set-up sits nice and level on even ground. It is a bit deceiving in the pictures.

My heaviest load so far...

Not much compared to some of the loads i have seen, but it runs about 15.5K. Truck doesn't flinch with it back there. It pulls very easily.

Well back in May my old 2wd F350 was the victim of a drunk driver hitting me head on so I had to replace it with another F350. Here is the heaviest load so far with the new to me truck:
