I've got a Jordon Ultima brake controller which works well except that it doesn't shut off when you are done braking. Sometimes when you take your foot off the pedal the brake controller stays on.
The problem is the brake cable adjuster device that attaches to the brake pedal. It is long and a bit heavy and it continues to pull on the brake cable after the brake has been released because the adjuster end droops down. It doesn't help that my brake pedal doesn't fully return to the top of its stroke by about 1/8". I find myself driving down the road looking down at the brake controller and seeing it sending 0.5 to 1 amp to the brakes. If I pull up on the brake pedal with my toe it shuts off.
Anyone else have this problem ? Any ideas on making it better ?

I got it to go away by angling the bracket that holds the heavy "cable adjuster device". I angled it so the adjuster was pointing up higher (almost vertical). That kept the weight of the adjuster from pulling on the cable.
It took some initial tweaking to get it right, but it has been good ever since.

I had the same problem. Played with the angle of the mounting bracket for the cable adjuster and was able to cure the problem.

I had the same issues and finally gave up and ordered a Prodigy. It was either too loose or too tight and I got too you know what to fuss with it anymore. I like the principal behind it but...

I have a Jordan 2020 and had the same problen. To fix it:
On the part that connects to the cable there is a small nut. Take the nut off and add a washer like a fender washer. Between the fender washer and the bracket that attaches to the brake pedal install a garden hose washer. This will hold the spring loaded part against the bracket on the brake pedal. When you release the foot brake the hose washer and fender washer will cause the cable to be pushed toward the controller and will turn off every time.
So you will take the spring loaded thing, remove the nut, install a garden hose washer and then the fender washer. The garden hose washer will slip over the entire spring loaded thing so you have to hold it next to the fender washer and install the assy as per the factory insturctions.
Hope this makes sense.
Jim
