Looking for a Toyhauler

Hi, does anybody know a good Toyhauler, preferably 5th wheel? I need to haul 3 Harleys,or 4 quads. I'd like to stay under 30' if possible. Thanks in advance.

Re: Looking for a Toyhauler

check out rv.net . alot of good info on T/H's. the T/H in my sig has been GREAT to me, but i've heard the quality of Weekend Warrior has gone down a little(and the $ has gone up). a 5er under 30' will take some looking.

Re: Looking for a Toyhauler

Is that an odd size? If so, what size would be on most lots? I'm not stuck with the 30', just figured that would be a decent size to drag all over the place. Thanks for the help.

Re: Looking for a Toyhauler

Check out KZ or Raptor. They both have seperate garages, so your not living with your toys.

Re: Looking for a Toyhauler

Not sure about out that way, but out here there are a lot of nice RV sites that do not allow a trailer over 30'. I have a 29' TT, and my neighbor has a 22' 5er. They're out there, you just gotta look. RV.net is a good place to start also try looking at this site . I know they're here in CA, but it can give you some ideas on brands and you can even see the floorplans.
Rag'n and Blaze'n are two other nice, quality toy haulers...Good luck
Edited to give a better site locale...

Re: Looking for a Toyhauler

Fleetwood's Gear Box has a 29 foot 5'er. It's hard to find a under 30 foot 5'er.

Also, you are gonna have a hard time fitting 4 quads in a toybox with a seperate garage. They tend to be good for about 2.

Re: Looking for a Toyhauler

Thor has a 27 footer, Rage'n has a 30 footer. I agree with not being able to find one with a separate garage under 30', as a matter of fact I don't think they even list that as an option on anything under 35'.
They're out there, there's the two I mentioned on the link I provided earlier. You just have to look and find what you like and what you want.

Yeah that's for sure....many ATVs are too wide to put them side by side inside a trailer....so you gotta line them up or wrestle them around crosswise, which is a real chore. 4 of them lined up would be what...24+ feet in a 30 ft 5th wheel, where is the bathroom kitchen etc gonna be

Re: Looking for a Toyhauler

I have the same problem. I'm trying to haul 4 race atvs which are 47-51 inches wide. The best I found is a custom toy hauler from millennium trailers or uscargo. Look at those before you buy an RV style toy hauler.

Best place to browse and see whats out there is eBay. The Fleetwood Toybox's are very nice. Do an eBay search for Toy hauler (two words), and then select Price: highest first. You should find a good selection that way.

Re: Looking for a Toyhauler

We just got a Forest River Work and Play TT. They also have 5er's. I can put 2 Prairie 650's side by side in ours. They are 100 inches inside. For the money it seems to be well made. We plan to try it out next month. Give a look on their web site.Might be something you can use.

Re: Looking for a Toyhauler

Here are a few fifth wheel toy haulers in the 30' range:
Crossroads Crossforce XF30FB
Weekend Warrior LE3105
Rage'n Falcon 3005
Fleetwood Gearbox 295
Cherokee Wolfpack 295
Thor Transport 27WTB
Skyline Rampage 289 and many more.
The reason I know this is because I am looking for the same thing, also check out the Desert Fox by Northwoods RV. The top three on my list are the most appealing to me.

Re: Looking for a Toyhauler

a lot of manufacturers are starting to put out a good toyhauler
I have always preferred Weekend Warrior. I have owned three of them. Other brands are great as well.

The smallest LE that you can get that comes with a slide is the LE3305. It is fine model indeed.

harleys aint for trailering, but we've gotten 3 quads, 3 hounds, and a buncha beer in ours.
I trailer quads and beer and a couple recliner chairs.

Re: Looking for a Toyhauler

I'm not sure how much TH trailers cost compared to LQ horse trailers. My trailer is close to 100". I haven't actually measured it, but the overall width is 102". So it would be at least 98" wide inside. At any rate, you might look at an 8' wide LQ horse trailer without mangers (mine has mangers which is good for us). Some LQs are built with a slant wall, but I think they can be ordered with a straight front wall as well. You can also have a ramp installed on the back for rolling the quads in with ease.

Oh well, this is just a suggestion from someone who really has no clue about what you want or need....We're into horses...don't have spare cash for the other toys right now
