I had a bad experience pulling a trailer in freezing rain a few years back and I won't ever attempt that again.
Me too, hence the RIP in my sig.

Dave, I have access to an enclosed trailer. The area I frequently haul my sleds to has limited "turn around" room and is infrequently plowed. With two sleds on the truck and a nice set of 35s, a good 4x4 is nearly unstoppable.
It looks like I may take the 6.0L plunge. Help me, I'm scared!
Oh crap I just realized something...is your name Ian?

Seems like people everywhere recognize me from there! I'm still an active member. Although not too much the last few years. I've still got the car but have gotten into other hobbies as well.

I saw a really slick setup a few weeks ago, just south of here in Helena. Guy had a new-ish 1ton, but he was running super-single 19.5's front and back, with custom wheels set up just like a big truck with super-single rims - dished in on the front, out on the back. They were pretty wide, but not obnoxious, and he had some 3" or so flares front/back. It looked really good, and he claimed it tracked..... He already had the pickup, according to him, and like's been said, hated it in the snow.
