need other air bag, donot like RideRite inside of frame.

i have an 05 f-350 SRW and need some air bags. i had a set on my 97 and loved them. the only name brand i can find are the Ride Rite that take the place of my factory bump stops. i would like to find a set that mount outside of the frame like i had on my 97. i think this placment would provide better roll or anti-sway control than the kind that mount "inside" of the frame.
links to other brands would be great.
Thank You.

Re: need other air bag, donot like RideRite inside of frame.

Ride Rite has two versions, one for a Fifthwheel application (2330), and one without (2071). The model 2330 is inside the frame, similar to what you have, and model 2071 is outside of the frame. Since they did not list numbers for 2006 models for my F350, I emailed tech support and they said the 2004 model year part numbers would work. I hope that helps. I looked for other brands as well, but did not find anything I liked as much as the Ride Rite, at least on paper. When I get them installed, I'll see how it goes.

I know you are looking for air bags but you need to check out Timbrens. The stability under load is phenomenal! Easy installation. one bolt on each and remove stops one bolt each. Put them on and forget them! No maintenance, no adjustments, no hassles!

Firestone Air Bags have never done me wrong. I have owned them on my last 4 pickups. I dont care much for the Timbrens (JMO)
