I was in Wyoming over the Summer and was getting my new Toyo tires on and lookede outside of the Tire shop and there it was, the best Aftermarked bed ever made. It was on a f-450. it had side tool boxes but was a normal Pickup looking bed!! it was amazing, the toolboxes were built in flush with the Side pannels. amazing
Has anyone seen something like this or Know of a company who makes this bed???
THanks
Evan
PS once you see this bed it will be on your truck its that good!!!

A construction company in my town has these beds on a bunch of 250's and 350's. At first glance you may not even realize they're 'utility' beds. I saw one on a used truck on a lot once. I wasn't nearly as impressed when I looked in the bed (maybe 4' wide?) and in the drawers, but it could be pretty handy sometimes....
After re-reading your post and the sticky, maybe I'm not talking about the same bed....

He's talking about the Royal Sport body. It was made for several years by Royal Truck Body, but they don't sell it anymore. Back when they sold it (around '99 thru '03), there were two different versions - one for SRW pickups, and a slightly-different one for chassis cab trucks.
Click here for an old article on the Royal Sport - but realize the article is now water under the bridge.
Click here for another one. But notice the engine in those Ford pickups is a 7.3L PSD, so that's not exactly an up-to-date website either. In fairness, if you now go to the ABC website you won't find the Royal Sport page anymore. So only if you have the old obsolete link above can you find it like we did. But they have better photos to show that it looked more like an ordinary pickup bed than a traditional service body.
Your best bet today for something similar is the Knapheid Westerner Storage Body. It's a low-profile service body that low enough to tow a 5er or gooseneck with - but it doesn't look much like a stock pickup bed. Smokey's right....it was probably a Royal Sport....like mine.
It is a great towing bed but does have an inherent problem that lots of folks didn't care for.
The bed itself sits very high and therefore, the fifth wheel hitch ends up mounted higher than most 5th wheel trailers are designed to accomodate. No amount of adjustment on the hitch or the trailer will provide for needed clearances or level towing stance.
The solution was to raise the trailer.....either by "flipping the axles" or, as I had to do, have a complete sub-frame installed between the trailer frame and the axles. Once that was done....the Royal Sport became the ultimate towing/truck bed.
In all of my travels, I have only run across two others so they must not have sold very many. I believe I have read that the factory actually burned down.....not to be rebuilt.

I think that Royal SPort was it. But I hope not because i still want one. lol. This truck i saw was probably the royal sport bed, i wish they still made it it is very nice, if they would have done some advertising maybe they could have come back or stayed around.
That truck in that parade float also had a nice bed, I dont know who makes that one (it may have been Royal sport) but I still need to do some searchin, all my findings have returned nothing.lol
Lets see if we cand dig another bed up

My girlfriends dad had one on his '99 F-350...REALLY slick setup until a 17 year old moron in a mercedes ran a red light and T-Boned the bed...Ended up totally the truck due to frame damage. Insurance wanted to give him $650 for the bed!!! HAHA, he called royal and they had 2 more in there yard (they no longer make then as stated by smokey) and IIRC they wanted upwards of around $10k for one of em. Pricey yes but a very nice bed.
There are companies that still make them, I see one near my work when I am out on patrol once in a while. It is on a 07 Ford F250/350 not sure which one. They are still out there. I want to get one for my F-150
