Re: pintle mounting plates??

Are you looking for one to mount in your 2" receiver or on an MDT or HD truck?

You will never find a 20K receiver mount for a pintle and all HD/MDT mounts I have ever seen and installed were custom made 3/8 or 1/2 Plate. I made one for a guy that he insisted it be made from 3/4 Plate.

Re: pintle mounting plates??

believe it or not buyers does make them and i think the company that makes the hitch that theyd be used in is protech they make a bumper pull hitch at 2 in recever rated for 2000# tonge wt and 40000# trailer( used on commertial dumps)

the buyers plate is 1/2 tempered steel and is 2 in solid shank its costly but worth it for the safety and weight rating its over rated the company has tested it to have a 5000# break point and have pulled 60 ton
