Power To The Trailer

2005 F250 factory Trailer Package & Brake Controller. I am not getting 12V to pin 4 on the trailer plug to charge trailer battery. The fuse is good. What am I missing?

Re: Power To The Trailer

There may not be a key-on-constant run into the 7 pin plug. I had to run a wire for backup lights into my '96 plug... The plug was pretty easy to take apart.

Re: Power To The Trailer

I had no power on my 2004 when new, the fuse looked good but when I checked it with a meter it did not pass current. did you do continuity check with a meter? On the 2000 the factory did not install the relay and fuse they were in a bag in the glove box. were they ever installed in his truck? THe owners manual shows all the fuse and relay positions.
