What would cause a back brake light on the truck go out? I towed my fathers enclosed trailer today and as soon as i pluged in the harness, i checked the lights my driver side light did not work. as soon as i disconected the harness the brake light works again. i think that the trailer might have a bad ground, any other thoughts?
thanks

Sounds like you have a short to ground on the left stop/turn circuit on the trailer. Check the wiring for any spots worn and grounding to the frame, or I have also seen the wiring turn green and cause problems right inside the trailer plug.
