Problem w/ Firestone 2398 air bags.

We're trying to install Ride-rite (model 2398) air bags on a 2006 dually F350. The ears for the axel bracket are hitting the traction bar and preventing the bracket from taking its proper alignment. Anybody got any ideas? We've already cut one ear off that only gets used for single rear wheel installation.

Re: Problem w/ Firestone 2398 air bags.

I had to move a hitch bracket and drill new holes in the bracket and truck frame when I installed AirLifts in my F250.

Look at the second picture in this link - had to use the rear holes on the rear rail and redrill. You can see it was moved back about 6-8".
