Prodigy Install - Where is the TT harness connector...?
My Prodigy came with a custom wiring harness that allows it to be plugged into the Ford trailer towing harness. Where, in the truck, will I find this TT harness connector?

Rick, If it's the same as the 03, then it's to the right of the gas pedal and below the radio. Have fun plugging it in, it's a PITA.

Re: Prodigy Install - Where is the TT harness connector...?
Thank You, Berol and Mlabelle,
You certainly saved me from digging far deaper into the dash than was actually necessary.
The Ford OEM pigtail was already installed in the connector so I had to replace it with the Prodigy custom pigtail. I then drilled a 1" hole in the back wall of the dash pocket to bring the pigtail through. I installed the Prodigy into the left side of the dash pocket using the plastic mounting sleeve that came with the Prodigy unit by placing Radio Shacks High Temperature Velcro along the left side of both the pocket and the plastic mount. This allows me to easily remove the brake controller from the truck when not in use and still holds the controller firmly in the pocket when in use.

Your welcome Rick. You mounted it the same way many other people do in the cubby. I'am glad it worked out.

Re: Prodigy Install - Where is the TT harness connector...?
Wow, what a pain to install. The picture saved me, thank you Berol.
My install was made harder by the damned cheap car alarm the dealer tried to get me to pay for... it cost him, maybe $25, for a crappy install in front of the bulkhead hiding that connector. Once I yanked that, it was easier.
I mounted mine next to (in front of) the parking brake on the bottom of the fusepanel cover, used some backing metal to screw into on the otherside of the plastic.
Thanks again!
