What is the maximum weight my 2000 F350 will pull? We just bought a dozer that weighs about 27,000lbs. I think 25,000 is the rateing on my B&W hitch, but I was woundering what the truck will safely pull?
If the dozer weighs 27,000 a good trailer to pull it will weigh at least 8000 and the truck weighs in at around 9000 that equals 44,000 pounds. Way to much for the truck.

Buy UNION work UNION. It pays off in the long run Define Union: A labor Union is nothing more than united workers with a common goal for better working conditions.
We all are in some sort of labor Union, some are just larger than others with better working conditions!
You've got to be high dude. That is way too much for any type of light duty vehicle.

The truck weighs about 8,500 pounds when wet and loaded for the road. The GCWR of your pickup is 20,000 pounds. So Ford says you can safely tow a trailer that grosses about 11,500 pounds.
Your dozer is about 3 times too heavy for a one ton dually to tow. That's why most dozers that size are towed by class 8 tractors with semi trailers.

ok, thanks for the info, just to clear things up I was not talking about heading across country, just moving between farms, ive seen D-4s moved around with heavy trailers, with ton trucks. We just got a D41P LGP Komatsu. Guess will get someone to move it for us.
I just wanted to know what the truck would pull without breaking something in the truck.
actualy around the farm ur own stupid fault if it breaks
but if you had in theroy a 4 axle doolie trailer
and you manage a 3k hitch weight
then you could do it but idk if you will even get it moving in any mud or lose soil
if its hard packed dirt then that setup would work
but again the tranny may be in trouble so use it as last resort
