Question(s) for those with Jordan Ultima Brake Controllers

I installed my Jordan Ultima 2000 last night and wondered if it's normal when pushing the brake pedal down for the spring to always come out a little bit on the controller assembly. I hear it everytime I push the brake and it gets annoying. Is this normal?

Also, for those of you with adjustable brake pedals. Did you use the adjustable brake pedal bracket? The one that I received from the RV place where I ordered the Jordan sent me the adjustable bracket for a Dodge, although it does go around the slider assembly for my brake pedal. Thing is, it states in the instructions to measure 6 inches from the brake pedal and install the bracket. When using the bracket for the adjustable pedal the controller assembly with spring isn't six inches above the brake pedal?

Re: Question(s) for those with Jordan Ultima Brake Controllers

Cant help with the question on the adj pedals.

Im not sure what you are saying about the spring coming out of the controller housing? Not sure what spring you are referring. Can you clarify?

There is a spring on the cylinder at the pedal that is primarily used for over-travel - meaning that when the pedal is really mashed, the spring will absort the travel rather than the housing trying to allow too much movement.

Email me (bruce.wittmeier@cox.net) or post back for the benefit of others - we can discuss more.
