I just put a full set of Bilsteins on my truck. What a difference. It no longer beats me to death when empty, and it feels great with my 28ft 5er hooked up

I've recently blown the rear Bilsteins on my '01 2x4 Excursion w 7.3 PSD. Probably due to overtravel(compression)of the shocks. I'm towing a 24' enclosed TAG w/track car and have been employing a load distributing hitch.
Some one mentioned to me about installing spring blocks from F250 to prevent overtravel of shock.
Anyone care to confirm/deny? Any part numbers and cost effective sources to pass on?

The F250 blocks have the same problem. You need the F350 blocks. I think Bilstien actually recently came out with the right shock for the shorter travel though.
