Replacment Fender for tow bed???

Hey Guys,

My Dad has a 2000 F550 that has a Texas Stagecoach tow bed on it. He hit a deer last night and took out the right rear fender. We called Texas stagecoach but they are no longer building tow bodies. Does anyone know where I can find a new fender for him? I can do some modifications if needed.

Thanks,

Scott

Re: Replacment Fender for tow bed???

You'll probably have to have one fabricated.

Look in the yellow pages of a nearby city under "truck bodies". Call some of the truck body folks and see if they repair banged-up tow bodies. Most probably do, or know where you can get it done.

Or maybe a plain-jane body shop could to the trick. It's basically fabricating then welding, grinding, sanding, priming and painting the new metal. Body shops do that all the time, except in the U.S.A. they usually begin with a new fender instead of having to fabricate one.

Have you tried searching for some pickup or medium duty truck salvage yards? Slight chance you could find what you need there.
