Re: Rickson wheels

Ive got them on my truck and love them. The looks are awesome, the quality is great and there are no downsides, aside from cost. My Michelin tires are wearing like iron, and do great when towing. One thing I would recommend if you get the polished aluminum wheels is to get the clearcoated as soon as you get them, dont drive on them, get tires mounted or anything, clearcoat them first. I didnt do it with my wheels because I was in a hurry, and I dont have time to polish my wheels all the time, so now I have to have someone polish them to new condition, then clearcoat them. Live and learn. They look amazing when they are brand new, and the clearcoat will keep them lookin that way all the time.

Re: Rickson wheels

Yep, Im running 245s, and they fit great. Obviosuly there were no issues in the back, but before I put the wheels and tires on, I installed a Donahoe Racing 2" Leveling kit up front to get rid of the hideous rake the truck had to it. Id say they fit about as perfectly as they are going to.

Re: Rickson wheels

Best thing I've done to my truck so far. That group of folks are great to work with and go out of their way to help out. I'm in the area and Dan took time off on a Saturday morning to put them on for me. I went with the Michelins, 265. Great ride, smooth and straight, sing nicely at hiway speeds. I have no lift and haven't rubbed with the 265s.
