RV Plug

Well the RV trailer wire caught on something (bumper maybe) while I was doing some tight manouvering and pulled out of the receptacle breaking the cover(which also holds the plug in). Is there somewhere to get just the cover or will I have to spring $60 for the whole assembly from Ford?

Re: RV Plug

If you are refering to the truck end of the 7 pin RV connector, they can be bought at most auto supplies or RV dealers for around $10-$15. No need to go to dealer. You cannot buy just the plastic spring loaded door.

Re: RV Plug

As twobit says, hit an RV store - they are not expensive. Rewire it yourself. It is easy. Just read the colors molded into the housing and match them up to the 7 wire conductor. The plastic connectors are $4.99 at Snyders in Salem, Va. Metal are about $8.00.
